Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Pep Group Organizer
Pep Group Organizer (PGO) is a private, community-based platform that allows users to discover, join, and manage Group Buys. We provide the organizational tools for Organizers to coordinate bulk purchases on behalf of multiple Participants.
A Group Buy typically follows these steps:
- An Organizer creates a Group Buy for a specific product
- Participants join and commit to purchasing items
- Once minimum quantities are met, the Organizer places the bulk order
- Participants pay the Organizer directly (outside our platform)
- The Organizer distributes the products to Participants
PGO is strictly a platform for connection and organization. We provide the tools for Organizers and Participants to coordinate, but:
- We do not sell, stock, or ship any products
- We do not process any payments
- We are not responsible for fulfillment or delivery
- All transactions occur directly between Participants and Organizers
PGO is a private platform. Access is by invitation only. New Organizers must be vouched for by existing, trusted Organizers. If you're interested in joining, connect with existing members of the community who can refer you.
Yes, but Organizer permissions are granted selectively. You must be vouched for by one or more existing, trusted Organizers, and approval is at our sole discretion. Organizers have additional responsibilities including managing Group Buys, coordinating bulk purchases, and handling participant communications.
We take your privacy seriously:
- We never sell your personal information
- Analytics data is anonymized and aggregated unless you permit us to do otherwise, and even then it remains within the platform, group buy, and group, never to be sold or publicly shared.
- Your data is only shared with Organizers of Group Buys you voluntarily join
- All data is stored on secure servers in the United States
- We use industry-standard security measures to protect against unauthorized access, including one way hashing of passwords
- You can request a copy of your data or request account deletion at any time
For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
Yes, you have the right to request account deletion. When you do, we will anonymize your personal information rather than delete your content entirely. This preserves the history and integrity of Groups and Group Buys for other users.
For more information, see our Data Protection Rights page.
All payments are made directly to the Organizer, completely outside of our platform. Each Organizer sets their own accepted payment methods (e.g., PayPal, Venmo, Stripe, crypto, etc.). Payment arrangements are communicated by the Organizer and are handled between you and them directly. PGO never processes or receives any payments.
Since all transactions occur outside our platform, PGO cannot provide payment protection or guarantees. We recommend:
- Only participating in Group Buys from trusted Organizers
- Reviewing the Organizer's history and reputation
- Communicating clearly with the Organizer about expectations and timelines
Any disputes, delays, or issues with a Group Buy should be resolved directly with the Organizer. PGO is a neutral platform and is not responsible for the conduct, actions, or fulfillment by any Organizer or Participant. We recommend clear communication with the Organizer to resolve any concerns.
